The progress of a foreign city

Today I saw the new Dublin’s tram’s section in action. I can’t explain why I felt so proud of this achievement. I arrived in Ireland when it was almost finished and I don’t even use it. However, public transport means connectivity for anyone who either lives or visits the city.

I am not sure that the Irish would need to make such an investment if not because they opened their arms to us.

And we, the more than 500,000 foreigners living in Ireland, should be grateful to them.
