Nothing to do with Powerscourt.

Is it worth paying a tenner a rainy day for visiting Powerscourt?

I don’t care, that’s not the story I want to tell. I’ve been in Ireland for three months. Being far from my soil has been easy only because I already know some people who deserve to be called friends.

Today we were walking around Powerscourt: The Tower Valley, then the Japanese Garden and so on. By the end of the tour I bumped into the exhibition of my featured photo.

I spent a long time admiring those old cars under the rain with a smile in my face. Why? I’m not a big fan.

Now, at home, I realise why.

I was doing what I would have if my best friend were there. I borrowed his passion to forget for a while the 10,000 km between us.
