Free admision: The Chester Beatty Library

‘Nothing is free in this life’, would say your old grandfather, sitting on the couch he’s been sitting since you met him.

You are wrong grandpa, the admission at the Chester Beatty Library is free and it outranks most of the museums I have ever visited.

Two floors, three sections each: West, Middle-East and East from left to right. 1500-year-old manuscripts of the Bible, written in Greek; gold decorated Qurans and a complete Samurai armour are only examples of its vast collection.

I have been there three times and still need to go a few more to see it all. Don’t miss it.

Note: I hadn’t realised that it was forbidden to take pictures when I took the one of this post, so I cropped it to feel less guilty.
